TAMPA, FL, August 3rd --Veredus Corporation (“Veredus”), a Tampa, FL-headquartered technical staffing company and privately held firm, was named a FAST 50 company for the 4th year in a row by The Tampa Bay Business Journal.
A luncheon was given by the TBBJ at the A La Carte Event Pavilion on Dana Shores Drive, in Tampa, to recognize the top 50 fastest growing companies around the area. Veredus was ranked 49th with a 16.4% revenue growth when comparing their 2006 to 2008 revenue. Veredus also reported 196 local employees at the end of 2008.
Veredus’ CEO, Dan Rodriguez, accepted the award on the firm’s behalf.

Making the List
As part of the process, in cooperation with the TBBJ, event sponsor Tampa accounting firm Kirkland Russ Murphy & Tapp PA coordinates the data submitted by candidate firms to create a safe haven for potentially proprietary numbers. Among the criteria to make the list is an annual revenue threshold of $1 million or more since 2006 and consecutive annual growth since then.
